2026 Arizona Deer Draw Choices

Draw Deadline: Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026

Listed below are our preferred client hunt choices for the 2026 Deer seasons. Our top picks are designated in bold with three stars. The application period is currently open via the www.azgfd.com website. Any combinations of hunt numbers may be chosen, depending upon your specific hunt desires, species preference ( Coues Whitetail or Mule Deer ), and Bonus Point level. Use your points wisely but don't waste your life waiting on the odds, lets get out and hunt!

Always list the lowest draw odds hunt as “1st Choice” and the highest draw odds hunt as “2nd Choice.” If you do not wish to apply for hunts this year, make sure to select the “Purchase Bonus Point Only” option.

Bonus Points listed represents the theoretically - required amount to guarantee drawing the tag in the max point pool. However, 80% of tags will be allocated randomly. Therefore, even if you have a low amount of Bonus Points or none, you may potentially draw any tag any time.

"Opportunity" hunts have moderate trophy deer potential but offer high draw likelihood, these are for representative-type deer.

“Mid-Tier” hunts are considered to have representative or better-type deer, with moderate draw odds or are new hunts without a proven history.

“Trophy” hunts offer better chances of taking a 180"+ Mule Deer or 100"+ Coues Whitetail Deer.

“Youth-Only” hunts are for hunters 10 years of age up to their 18th birthday. Hunters 10-13 years old must complete Hunter's Education.

Our recommendation varies widely for individual applicants. Generally we prefer to not get caught up in chasing points, odds, or inches. Pick hunts that fit your goals and play the draw, it is about the experience of the hunt, not the antlers in the end.

We hold active permits to operate on the Tonto, Apache-Sitgreaves, Coconino, Coronado, Prescott, and Kaibab National Forests lands, throughout the vast majority of Arizona elk habitat. Whether you draw one of our preferred hunts or another, we can help you with your Arizona elk hunting experience.
